What is Ashtanga yoga?

Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic and structured form of yoga that follows a specific sequence of poses linked together by synchronized breath and movement. In simple terms, it is a vigorous and athletic practice that focuses on building strength, flexibility, and stamina. Ashtanga is divided into different series, each progressing in difficulty, and practitioners gradually advance as they master the postures. This methodical approach creates a disciplined and transformative experience, emphasizing the importance of a consistent and dedicated practice. Ashtanga yoga provides a challenging yet rewarding journey for those seeking a physically demanding and structured path to enhance both physical and mental well-being.
